The Amazing Race Asia, Kyoto (7), Snacks Time! :D

It's time for snacks!
As a food lovers, I like to try many kind of food, including the snacks, hehe
And here is my favorite snack among other snacks in Japan:


1. Takoyaki

My most favorite Japanese Snack!
It is round, savory, and hot! It is fit perfectly for a winter and autumn season, but it is also possible to eat it at spring and summer :D
Takoyaki made from flour dough, mix with spring onion and carrot (i think, i'm not sure..) plus an octopus as a filling.
9.5 from 10!!

In Indonesia, takoyaki is starting to famous as one of Japanese snack, but still, i think the takoyaki that i had in its original place is the best one, hehe

You can have it for 500 Yen per portion, around 8-10 takoyaki each portion. If you are visiting Japan, make sure you try this takoyaki, :D

2. Caramel Puding

Japanese people really like sweets.
There are a lot of cake shop that sell many kind of sweets. But instead of cake, i prefer this Caramel Puding :)

This caramel puding has a really soft texture, the puding it self is not really sweet but if you mix it with caramel above it, the taste is so so so yummy! You can have it for 500 Yen also each puding. And for this one, i give another 9.5 from 10!


3. Taiyaki

Taiyaki means fish cake. Well, it is not a snack made from fish meat, but it is made from the flour dough that have a fish shape, just like in the picture. Taiyaki filled with red bean paste, so it will taste sweet too,, Compared to takoyaki, taiyaki is cheaper. You can have it for 100 Yen each.

In minimarket, you also can find taiyaki ice cream, with vanilla ice cream and red bean paste as a filling. One of my favorite ice cream!

Learning something is sure fun! :)
Please don't get bored to want to know something, peoples!
If you are learn something good, no matter how small or big what you learn are, your positive aura will get bigger and bigger and will make you a better person.

Today, although i had a pms all day which make me have a headache and stomachache, but thanks to all my friend in Goethe class, I still can enjoy today with study together with them, full of laughing and smiling :)

The Amazing Race Asia, Kyoto (6), The Shrine

There are so many shrine in Japan.

My friend from Japan said, for them, God can be in every creature. I've visited one shrine that has a God as a Fox, and in another shrine, the God is as Dog. He said to me that in the shrine, they usually had a statue, maybe Fox, maybe Dog, maybe be anything else, and the statue is their God, where they pray and put their hopes in that. So in different shrine, they have different shape of God.

In every shrine, they have one priest that lead them. And also there are a lot of shrine girl *I remember Rei from SailorMoon anime who has a job as women priest :D* like in the picture. I asked my friend whether they can married also or not, and he answered that in these days, the girl do that job as a part time job, not like the older time, so they can married freely.

ah, coincidentally, in the shrine when i visited it, they held a japanese wedding ceremony. it is so traditional and everyone wear a kimono, it's very cool! :D





I didn't waste my chance to do the thing like other Japanese do when they visit shrine, which is write your hope in the wood and hang it up like you see in the picture :D
And amazingly, i found one wood that written in Bahasa Indonesia, hahaha
You can buy the wood in the shrine shop for 500 yen and write in there too, they will provide you the marker.


well anyway, don't forget to visit any shrine when you are in Japan, there are so many of them that you can choose, hehe
