The Amazing Race Asia, Bangkok (7), It's Thai food!

if you travel to another country, don't miss a chance to try it's traditional food.

a different place, different culture, different dishes too. maybe sometimes the taste is not familiar at all with your tongue. but if you never try them, you wouldn't know whether they are delicious or not :D

beside Khao Niao Mamuang that i told you before in my previous post, i especially like the food in this picture. it's called Pad Thai. it is look like a noodle but wider and made from rice, so it has white color. i think it's a little bit similar with Chinese Kwetiaw, chewy but delicate texture. you only have to pay 50 Baht for one portion to get this seafood pad thai. and also, you can request to the seller whether you want to make it spicy or not. 8 out of 10! :)

Thailand is a tropical country, like Indonesia. so in there, you can find a lot of variety of fresh tropical fruit like mango, guava, papaya, pineapple, orange, and many other. they usually sell it for 10-20 baht per portion or per each fruit.

for a hot weather in Thailand, eating a cool, fresh fruit while you take a walk is a yum! :D

in my last day in Thailand, me and my partner-in-crime decide to have dinner buy buying traditional food in street traders so that we can really feel as a Thai people. of course, buy buying the food in here it's a lot lot cheaper than in a Restaurant. we only pay 200 Baht for 5 person for a lot of kind of fish and vegetable. yum!

i think, thai people really like sour, so a lot of kind of food has a sour taste. if it just slightly sour then it's ok, but if it's too sour, then, just be ready to have your water for drink, hahaha..

Bon appetit!
