why use *?

i wonder why people often use * sign when they want to say something that we already know what he/she want to say it?
like use f**k when they want to say fuck or b*tch when they want to say bitch?
oh come on, when you want to say it, just say it! don't make it look ridiculous by use that. but if you want to say it but you want to look innocent by using *, just replace the word by something else.

no offense, just say what's in mind.

?.

is being nice to somebody else is wrong?

The Amazing Race Asia, Kyoto (9), Udon lovers

Food review from Japan, again! :D

Japanese people also like to eat noodle. The most popular kind of noodle are Ramen and Udon.
The differences is from their texture of the noddle, which Udon has wider and softer than Ramen, and also from their soup. But since my teacher said that usually they add pork as a soup base for Ramen, I didn't try that.

They can mix the noodle with everything, beef, chicken, seafood, egg and even tempura. It is so delicious and so far as i see, every Ramen shop is full of people that want to eat and sometimes they have to queue first in order to get a seat.
From a children to an adult, they all can eat this food. Because it is winter, so Ramen and Udon is the best to eat in the cold season like this. But do you know that instead of a hot noodle, they are also a cold noodle? Well, i prefer cold noodle actually, i find it more delicious than a hot one, hehe.. Like in the picture above, the right one is hot noodle while the left one is cold noodle. Oishiiiiiii ~ ~ ~

i'm happy for today, for this weekend!
after a long time with a busy weekend, finally i can get my quiet weekend in Bandung :)

happiness is simple.
from a lazy morning with a late wake up,
from a nice lunch with different foods and places,
from a cartoon on the tv in the night,
from a quietly reading a book when its raining outside,
and many more.

I am blessed.
Thank you God :)

The Amazing Race Asia, Kyoto (8), Kyoto Tower

Not only Tokyo that has Tokyo Tower, Kyoto has one too :)

Kyoto Tower located in the southern part of the city, just across the Kyoto Main Station. Like you see in the picture, there are a hotel under the tower, named Kyoto Tower Hotel. Quite expensive, like a heard from my traveler friend, because it is located in the center of the city. In the top of the tower, is a restaurant that have a view of Kyoto City *well, it is my friend who said this, i have no chance to eat in there because it is too expensive :p*

Beside the hotel, this area has a large shopping center, including a large electronic shop that sell many kind of things from camera to television, and many other things.
You can also find many souvenir shop and many fashion shop, but i don't recommend you to buy the souvenir here, because it is more expensive than from other area after i compared the prices. But if you looking for electronics, you can buy it here, hehe

Like i told you before, Kyoto Station is right across the tower. Kyoto Station is very big station, which has floor from Basement 2 to Lv. 11. The train arrive and departure in the basement level, while other level is for shopping center. You can find many kind of restaurant in this place, and they all are looking sooooo delicious! Many tourist or kyoto's people like to sit in the stairs like in the picture, have a talk with their friends in there or just to feel the fresh air.

If you want to go here, you just need to take a bus, because so many number of buses that have their last stop in Kyoto Station.

So don't miss this place if you go to Kyoto, hehe

happy weekend :)

while we are still alive, why we are not spreading the good news and happiness instead of gossiping each other like that? live is too short to just make a correction for others while we don't correct our self :)

Happy weekend, everyone!

what we need, sometimes is not what we want.
but just believe that God will give us exactly what will make us better, because God know what best for all.
only a matter of time, and sometimes only from a different point of view.
keep the positive surround you, and you will be as glowing as stars. :)

happiness for today is:

I found this today from facebook, another shared from facebook:

===================================================================

Married or not you should read this...

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I’m a loving husband….

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.

So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don’t share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Always Leave Office on Time

My friend sent me an interesting massage,
well, it is suitable for us who really like (?) to work, hehe

=============================================================

Always Leave Office on Time

1. Work is never ending process. You can never finish the works.

2. Interest of a client is not more important than your FAMILY.

3. If you fall in your life, your boss or client will not be the person to offer a helping hand but your FAMILY and FRIENDS will do.

4. Life does not coming to office, going home and sleeping. There's more to a life. You need time to socialize, entertainment, exercise and relaxation, don't make your life meaningless.

5. A person who sits in the office till late is not a hardworking person. He is a fool who doesn't know how to manage works within stipulated time. Beside, he is a loser in life who doesn't have personal or social life.

6. You did not study hard and struggle in the life to be a machine and live a meaningless life.

7. If your boss forces you to work late, just forward this massage. He will try to make his/her life meaningful too.

Leaving office on time: More productivity, good social life, good family relations.
Leaving office late: Less productivity, no social life, no family life.

==================================================================

So do you want to go home on time today from office? :D

Who says Islam is terrorist?

I really like this shared in Facebook, from Taher Yahya Saeed account:

I liked the answer of this Germaniun Muslim scholar when he was asked about terrorism and Islam : He said : Who started the first world war ? Muslims ? Who started the second world war ? Muslims ? Who killed about 20 millions of Aborigines in Australia ? Muslims ?? Who sent the nuclear bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ? Muslims ?? Who killed more than 100 millions of Indians in North America ? Muslims ?? Who killed more than 50 millions of Indians in south America ? Muslims ?? Who took about 180 millions of African people as slaves and 88% of them died and was thrown in Atlantic ocean ? Muslims ?? No , They weren't Muslims!!! First of all, You have to define terrorism properly... If a non-Muslim do something bad..it is crime. But if a Muslim commit same..he is terrorist... So first remove this double standard...then come to the point!!!

========================================================================

So who says that Islam is a terrorist?

Islam loves peace
.

A TRUE ISLAM, LOVES PEACE.
Well, I'm saying 'true', because nowadays there's so many people that behalf of the sake of Islam, they started the violence. But i think, they are not Islam. Not a TRUE Muslims.
Our Prophet Muhammad SAW never teach us about violence. He is the most gentle, kindest person in the world. So how come we as his people are allowed to the the violence?

Hopefully ALLAH SWT always bless us, wherever we are.

?

happiness for today is:

what should i write for today?

life is too grateful to be written in one blogpost.
and for tonight, i want to enjoy it for myself. :)

rindu

If Allah SWT is all you have, then you have all you need.

Happiness for today is:

Today, my friend shared this post in facebook:

A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.

A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.

A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.

Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

(Taken from Kristof Burm account in facebook)

Well, this post kind of reminds me to not trapped in my own routine.
Reminds me too to enjoy my day, enjoy the world from different point of view.
Because i don't want to missing something while I'm alive :)
